LIFE IN THE FAST LANE

Once again I got fined for over-speeding and this wasn’t the second time this was happening but I don’t need a reason to drive fast.

Every time the chance comes I just hop into the car, stick the USB in the music player, turn the key to engine check and Ignition.
after this the only thing I watch is the needle turning clockwise, of course its faster than that of my room clock.

20..40..60..80..100..120..140 and on.

Of course we’re talking about the speed here, Kilometer per Hour. Every time I hit a new top, its ECSTACY more like completing a project on time , getting a promotion or listening to your favorite song with the volume high.

From gear shifts to burning rubber ( oh yes burning rubber ) everything is a thrill, the screeching sound of the brakes to the noise in a diesel engine EVERYTHING.

The engine roar, the rpm going up and the “VROOOM” sound fills me with a strange feeling , a feeling you can never get away with. No matter how hard I try to let it go, It always comes back for more and I was hooked and there is absolutely nothing stopping me to take my car down a nice smooth road and set a new record, my personal record.

The streets are full of stories, stories that are not real , stories that don’t sound real and stories you might just think are real.

One such story was about a man, a man who was addicted to speed, a man who we call a speed freak, this was the time when Maruti 800 was the fasted car in India.

He used to drive them to their speed limit and made his mark by breaking the needle of the speed-o-meter.

Now what can we say about that?!

Going deeper I even found groups , clubs and parties just for people who think speed is more than just a number. These people will to anything to go fast, faster than ever.

They’ll spend all their money on a cylinder of NOS just to go faster,still faster is not enough.

One day you just get lucky, you won’t believe but yeah we have legal racing event in Delhi/NCR and I got to know about it.

A proper DRAG race between two cars where you can push the peddle as much as you want.
HEAVEN.

A place where one can put the car in the highest gear and let the engine revving on a never ending road and give those over-speeding tickets a nice grim, ha.

Yes, Speed can also be addictive and for everybody who think they’re already addicted please Drive Carefully because it doesn’t go well for everybody and we all are aware about all the over speeding cars that have been involved in a lot accidents so one should be extremely careful.
